This Precision CNC swash plate leveling tool is an invaluable device used during the setup of any model helicopter. With mainshaft up to 10mm in dia.
This tool is used to set and check the swash plate remains level during its range of travel.
It is not uncommon to find the swash plate is level at one setting, but moves from this position at various places through out its range of travel.
This is common on all helicopters, but even more pronounced on helicopters utilizing CCPM collective systems. This will be more noticeable at the extremes of the travel range such at full positive and full negative pitch.
